A couple spare minutes

So like I said before, I'm a slacker. I decided that since I had a spare five minutes at school, I would write something! This is the second day of the 4th quarter of school. It is the second semester and I'm not even in the 1900's in my history class yet. The way the school works around here is that we teach an entire years worth of classes in one semester. They have four classes each day 1st semester and 4 new classes second semester. It's a tough schedule. Not only am I teaching US/AZ history class, but I am also teaching English 11. Oh joy! I took one, ONE, English class in college. Thank goodness I leaned how to write papers in my History classes! Last semester English wasn't so bad because it was Honors. However, this semester it is harder. I am glad to say though that I think I am getting the hang of it. The last couple days have been great! I really do like teaching, but teaching something I don't know is difficult. I hope I survive! Only two more weeks to spring break and 9.5, not including spring break, till the end of the semester! Yay!!!

February 14th

Ok, so I have two funny stories.
First: So this last weekend was Valentines Day. I do not like this day, mainly because I have no one special to spend it with. I have only shared one Valentines Day with someone and he broke my heart two weeks later. Anyways. Two weeks before Valentines Day my roommates boyfriend brought over a friend to play games. His name is Nick and he told Dammon (Lisa, my roommates BF) that he was interested in me, so Dammon brought him over. We played games and had fun. We proceeded to go on two more dates, which were fun. But I just wasn't interested in him. So I told him that on Wednesday the 12th that we should just be friends. Two days later, on Friday, I was at school and my English class was watching the "Crucible" when a student aide brought in a gorgeous bouquet of flowers in a pretty red vase.

They were for me. My kids proceeded to tease me about them.(Gotta Love Juniors!) Nick had sent them to me. But in all fairness he had ordered them before I had told him we should just be friends. Even though I'm not interested int he guy, it made me feel special.

Second Funny Story:
As stated above, I do not celebrate Valentines Day. Instead I celebrate Arizona's birthday. She became a state on February 14th, 1912. It was her 97th birthday last Saturday. So to celebrate I made Arizona shaped cookies. I made three dozen and gave most of them away. But I kept the biggest one.

I know I'm a freak. What can I say? It was fun! :)

Snow in Globe! A strange phenomenon . . .

Normally, Globe doesn't have snow. However, I went there for Christmas break and it snowed. It followed me home. . .it was snowing when I left Show Low and a couple days later it snowed in Globe. Here are the photos.

Horrible Blogger - Europe Photos

So I am completely terrible at keeping up a blog and/or journal. I took pictures in Globe over break and meant to put them on here, but I forgot. I will do that soon. SNOW!!!!

So it snowed! Twice now! Yay for snow. We have had two snow days. Here are some pictures from our first snow! However, it has all melted. Sad days! We are supposed to get more soon though!

Sad Days

So for all of you who wants to know if Bo is coming to the family Christmas Party, no he is not. Sadly our relationship only lasted a little more than three weeks. He broke it off a week ago. It was hard and still is, but I'm ok. We're still friends and I'm not bitter. :) It was just not the right time or perhaps not the right guy. Oh well!

So this be Bo. It's not a very good picture I texted it to my email from my cell phone. It does him no justice. Just thought you all you would like to see the man who takes up my spare time! He is such a great guy! I am a very lucky girl.
